I replied to your post in the other section: is this cam connected to your local LAN? I just googled and it seems that you can add it to your local LAN by wifi. If you then have the local ip address you can try to find it in BI using the ip- address. By the way you can always use the great help of Ken, the BI developer to try to install it. He needs access rights if course but has been very successful in the past in similar issues.

Have you contacted Ken, the developer? Just send an email to BI support. Obviously after so many months since your posting no one of the BI community may know an answer. Ken is always fast and extremly helpful.

Are they all wired? Have you tried to temporarily replace the one with the connect problem with one which does not have connect problems? By that you will be able to determine if the camera or the wiring is creating the issue.

Clear the zones and hotspots you created. This should give you a total green pic. Now blank all of the pic out until only the bird cage or even only the hole are still green. Now only motion within the green area will create an alert.

Why don't you move your existing BI installation to your new PC and after re- installation do the upgrade on your new PC?

Basically yes. You get 12 months free email support. After 12 months you can buy an exrension of that support. Whenever there is a real major upgrade you can buy an new licence. Similar to for instance MS. Biu fixing and other enhancements are free. Even if you do not want to upgrade your present licence does not expire. Details you can find at the developers website. I am not affiliated with the developer but a long time happy user.

Green is the area where the motion detection will be active. Why don't you try the new shadow option? Works for me regarding fast moving clouds on a bright sunny day.

Go to options (the second tab on the top) and you will see the users tab. There you can add, edit and delete users with their respective passwords.

Have you added the port no assigned at the end of the ip address of the PC when you want to access within your LAN. Should be like 12.345.678:81 or whatever your port no is.
