Has anyone been successful in setting up IPC1-V 2.0 cameras in the tinyCam app (Android). I have the ESC cameras working in IP Cam Viewer but have had no luck viewing them in tinyCam.

I contacted the developer a few weeks ago and gave him access to one of my ESC cameras but haven't heard back from him. I have the Pro (paid) version of both apps.

I don't use that app, but did you try using this string in the config ?

I am down to my last ESC cam now....I have had 3 failures in the last year...they just die and smell burnt inside.  My original Dahua cams are still chugging away, so I am leaning towards Dahua or clones for now. My IPC1-V 2.0 is the lone survivor   ;D

I tried that string and couldn't get it to work in tinyCam pro. I'm using the configuration for Zmodo DVR-H8008 in IPCV pro and it works fine with the ESC's (thanks to spebby for that info).

Sorry to hear that your ESC cameras are failing. Out of five ESC's, I had one that gave me problems with switching on IR's at night. It was in warranty at the time, so Empire replaced it with a new one. I currently have all five installed and haven't had any problems with them. I have 4 at my place and one at my sisters house. I purchased them in April 2014.

Most of the ESC cams were 3-4 years old....I am looking into what exactly fails on them.

Looks like ESC is still in business. I get emails from them once in a while but they seem to be pushing analog cameras. They still sell IP cameras and the prices are better than they used to be a couple years ago.

The ESC cameras are still my favorite stationary cameras. Video quality is excellent.

Favorite PTZ cameras are the Huisun's even though one failed.  :'(

I agree...my IPC1-V 2.0 has one of the best video pictures of all of mine as well, but the longevity of them is in question.

Here is a capture with the Dahua clones I have been using....3mp bullet:
