the big one is the empire security ipc5-2.0 it has a 2.8~12mm varifocal lens
the small one is the empire security esc4-ip 2.0 with a 3.6 fixed lens

Im really liking the the esc4 due to its tiny size... they all have the same quality picture..

Would be awesome if they put prices on there. :)

I have a 3MP Hikvision as well, and I like the IPC1-V 2.0MP by Empire better and for 116.00 bucks, its hard to beat.  I am not saying the HIK's are bad, but I just like the picture better on my ESC cam both day and night.

Is that the price directly from Empire? That's a great price for a varifocal.

yep...retail 145.00 less 20% for the rest of the month....and yes it is a sweet deal.  Personally, I feel that model has the best picture of all of the Empire line.

Thanks Stickman. I just sent them my email address so they can contact me. Definitely interested in that camera for $116. Are their shipping rates reasonable?

Here are a few outdoor pics from one of my IPC1-V 2.0MP by Empire at different times today.
Road is about 200 feet from camera with varifocal set to almost max of 12mm.
Blurred out part of license plates.  :)

Thanks JohnRH. Those captures look great! I don't have a VF camera yet, so a IPC1-V 2.0MP might be my next purchase.

I just ordered two of the Empire IPC1-V 2.0MP varifocal cameras. Great price with the 20% off. Total came to $232 + $12 priority shipping. They should arrive the first part of next week. It'll be nice to not have to wait over a month for a camera order. No Ratingsecu camera yet. It's been a month + one day since that camera was shipped. Now I'll have something to play with while waiting for the slow boat from China order.  ;D

Yes, my only real issue with the hikvision, if you want anything but 4mm, yer waiting for weeks, maybe months, ugh.

I was wondering about the physical size of the IPC1-V 1.0MP camera? Is it small like the Hik 2032 or is it large like the Foscam FI8905W? When the cameras arrive, I'll be replacing one of my 8905's which has crappy video.

A little bigger than the Hik -  much smaller than than an 8905

I have a Hik & Empire side by side. I'll snap a pic when I get a chance.
